tallie is the protagonist of a pokemon ruby nuzlocke challenge. she'd once been cheery and bright, with the incredibly mundane dream of becoming a name rater (a pokelibrarian???) - but she set out on a pokemon journey anyway, wanting to live up to the expectations of her parents.
and it took a toll on her, to put it lightly. between the lives she couldn't save, the ones she had to take, and the ones she was forced to protect as she got thrust into the hero role against team magma, her heart closed up. she does her best to keep others at arm's length now, fearing more than anything else the thought of loving and losing once more... but at the end of the day, more than anything else, she wants that love.
